1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Putting Up (the "Service"), a web application for planning a garden, logging harvests, tracking home food preservation, and managing pantry and freezer inventory. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. Notify us at hello@puttinguphomestead.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Plans, billing and renewal

Putting Up offers a Free plan and a paid "Full" subscription. Current prices are shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method on each renewal at the then current price for your plan.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, invoicing, subscription management, and the collection and remittance of applicable sales tax and VAT. Paddle's own terms may also apply to your purchase.

Founding Member is a limited launch price. It remains attached to your subscription for as long as that subscription stays continuously active; if it is cancelled or lapses, the price may no longer be available.

We may change our prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will give you reasonable advance notice by email. Cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into the Service — your inventory, garden and harvest records, recipes, photos, notes and plans. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload anything you add.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data, scrape or resell the Service, or interfere with its normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

6. Food safety disclaimer

Putting Up provides planning tools, yield estimates, reminders and assistant suggestions based on publicly available guidance, including National Center for Home Food Preservation (NCHFP) and USDA tested recommendations. This information is provided for general guidance only and is not a substitute for current, tested canning, freezing and food-handling procedures. Assistant suggestions are generated automatically and may contain errors. Always follow a current tested recipe and verify processing times, methods and storage safety yourself. You are solely responsible for the safety of the food you preserve and consume.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature in a way that materially reduces what you paid for, you may contact us for a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of your term.

8. Termination and your data

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription from your account. If your subscription ends, your records are not deleted — your account returns to the Free plan and your data remains available subject to Free plan limits. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@puttinguphomestead.com.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
